"And that's why you hunt to be able to have something decent." She gives a little shrug, not minding the fact that he's looking at her like he doesn't trust her as far as he can throw her. The feeling is mutual, and she figures all of her best acquaintanceships come from people who might possibly betray her. She might as well go out on a limb and at least try to talk to others here. Even if it is about food, something she hasn't exactly had the luxury to have opinions about until very recently.

"Things here are better than what I had back home. But I still like making my own meals." Mostly because she doesn't trust anyone here to not make her sick.
