Or is this really what would've happened if not for the weird multiversal intervention that happened onto him? His identity collapse had been one of the most terrifying frigging things that'd ever happened to him, something that this Miles should understand. Miles will admit, he didn't exactly handle the business with Bel and Clark gracefully, but -- not like this.
