Clara looks like she's getting an insight into a beautiful space soap opera and barely restrains the smile that's overtaking her face. "I'm used to dealing with time displacement, you know. And the issues that are caused by meddling with people you know in a time you're not supposed to be in."

She doesn't bother responding to the fact that things here are far from a vacation and that she's feeling a little inclined to try giving his grandfather a very large piece of her mind.

"Any place that has real, actual widespread mutant paranoia isn't worth fighting for. The only reason I'd properly consider going along with this is because if something happens to your family here in this time, you may end up not existing at all."
