Thank Diamonds for small miracles, Lapis supposes. Because she definitely would not have liked to be sprayed with chewed mush while being talked at. Still, the very toothy human(?) is still saying words and she still doesn't really understand beyond the fact she's apparently eating those creatures that fly around in the sky on earth. Mostly, she's just wondering how exactly humans even catch them considering their superior ability of flight.

"Oh." She says simply, pushing the plate of food towards him. "Here, you seem like you like eating. You can eat mine too." She knows just enough about human biology at this point that she knows she's hungry and should eat, but the thought of it is grossing her out way more than it should.
