"Not much," Daryl grumbles, tilting his head to the side. He removes the arrow from the rabbit's jaw, wiping the blood off on his shoulder before sticking it back into his quiver. "Don't usually bother with these bastards."

He means: camouflaged rabbits are a pain in the ass in winter. For one thing, they're hard to find, for another, they're hard to get quickly and cleanly. Daryl prefers headshots if he can manage it; quick, clean deaths that train his aim and keep him sharp. He considers this a loss.

Of course, uncommunicative Daryl says none of that, just, "Wouldn't've seen it if you didn't scare it up." It was attempting to flee Kareen's approach, and that shadow of movement was enough for Daryl.
