Her eyes widen to a near comical point as she looks up at him with no attempt to hide her fear. "I watched a planet burn out before. But imagining ten years, with that many dying..."

She can't help but frown and look like she wants to cry. "I'm sure there's a lot of children that are lost in that five million casualties." Kids are her biggest soft spot, and she forces herself to try and keep the mood light because if she doesn't she'll just live in anxiety over the fact that she's stuck here.
