Arthur's eyebrows lift at the hypothetical, but there's nothing about this man that makes him doubt its veracity. A military efficiency, then, perhaps more General than Count. Certainly caused by the situation; ten years at war is enough to harden any man, no matter how he began. The simple fact that these people have held out for this long against a superior force is reason enough for respect.

Not that this man's bearing demands anything less. Arthur isn't cowed by that look, sharp as a blade's edge, but if he weren't raised by Uther Pendragon it might be a different story.

He's begun to pick up some of the words idiosyncratic to the culture, but hasn't spent enough time around Vor to recognize the language of the social hierarchy.
