"Ha ha, yeah, didn't I just say that? You surprised me! You know, you're screamy and kind of weak, like a mouse? Or, uh, a rabbit? Rabbits scream, right?" Toska's laughing now, the decision that they must be friends shoving him straight back into his seemingly constant good mood.

Colin's free to struggle all he wants, he's not getting put down until the troll feels like it.

"You haven't frozen to death or gotten yourself killed by the other side or our own side." Because apparently that might be a worry. He's thought about it. "You haven't even fallen off a cliff yet!"

That said, he'll finally set him back on the snow, very carefully and, considering how he views poor Colin, the careful part isn't at all shocking.
