Unfortunately for Colin, trolls see humans are prey. While Toska has one foot firmly in changeling land, rather than being fully troll anymore, the urge to see them that way remains. They scream and run and dart around, flailing limbs as they go. So, yes. Colin is a rabbit, but! A rabbit that's impressed him! A rabbit he thinks is his friend! Aren't those good things?
Toska thinks they're good things and, yet, Colin doesn't seem at all happy about it, which leaves him scratching his wild head of hair as his friend (whether he likes it or not) struggles with the snow.
"Hmm, okay." At least he's finally agreeing to head back to camp and there'll be a span of time where he's even quiet, waiting until they've already set off to leave the village. At that point, he'll ask, "Colin? Did I say something wrong again?"
