Right now, a cast cap of 5 is about the highest we felt was reasonable for a game this size (and although we are opening up new reserve slots every month for the foreseeable future, this game is intended to stay small). This was something I had been thinking about for a few days and something Ammay and I had a long conversation about. Waiting until after this round to instate a cast cap would kind of defeat the point of having one, if this month's app around would result in a cast going over the intended cap.
I know this does throw a wrench in some people's CR plans and I feel bad about that :c But right now there are still two whole weeks until reserves open again, and none of the current casts have maxed out their cap, and if anyone was interested in the game because of an existing cast, I hope they'll still find the game on its own (and the existing cast & players) interesting enough to reserve someone else if that doesn't pan out for them.
