Hey all and welcome to For Barrayar! We'll be getting the OOC info/signups post for the first half of March's plot up soon, as well as the March Game Update (which details the weather and each side's status and resources for the month), but in the meantime, please feel free to introduce yourselves and get your mingle on! Tell us about yourselves, what you're looking forward to and what you're hoping to do in this game, and just generally get down and friendly with each other. And if you haven't joined the Discord server and would like to, hop on in.

If you haven't had a chance to look at the culture pages and want some extra reading material, those go into more depth about the Barrayarans and the Cetagandans. The March I log will probably go up on the 2nd due to time constraints because February was a short month and I unfortunately have a day job.

Also, please note the tagging system -- all of your characters should already have tags (and if they're missing, please let me know), and there are also location tags for the guerilla camp and the Cetagandan base, so please use those for your logs too!

Okay so when I saw the reserve list and saw Nash on it I screamed a little because omg. I don't even know you but I already like the cut of your jib cause my love affair with Nash has been ongoing for the past 15 years or so.

We'll be on opposite sides unfortunately but I will be squeeing quietly over on the Ceta side and stalking Nash if only cause holy crap someone else out there loves Suikoden.

I just did some light muselist stalking and heyyy you play Toro so that's two obscure canon overlaps!! (Alas my Halo knowledge extends only to "being bad at this game" but rest assured, I am bad at that game.)

Anyway yes I do play Nash, congrats on your excellent taste, I, uh, hope I don't screw up now!! /throws confetti

Ayyyy my little firebug. Yeah, then Marvel decided to do dumb shit with mutants outta spite for MCU and it kinda killed my urge to play Marvel. But brofist for actually knowing him. Obscure muses FTW. And it's okay, I'm terrible at Halo as well so I feel you. Thankfully, Kurt is from the books only so he's a lot easier to play IMHO.

I'm sure you'll be fine! I take it you're taking him from S3 and he's no longer the precious cinnamon bun he was in Suikogaiden?

I'm Very Aware of Marvel's recent mutant misadventures, it's probably my biggest fandom, and also the worst. (My only love sprung from my only hate, &c.)

Yeah, he's post-S3. I've experimented a bit with Gaiden-era Nash but it is... much harder, for me. I am not sure what I should read into that, so I choose not to.
