[ HIJACKING PLOT QUESTIONNAIRE ]
HEY GANG!! As I design the missions for the Star Gate hijacking plot (EXCITEMENT), there are a few things I need to know pertaining to your plans for your characters so I can better tailor the event. So please take a few minutes to reply to a couple of quick questions so I can make note in my plans. If you're not sure yet, you can just respond with "undecided", because that's still helpful for me to know.
ETA: As an FYI, there'll still be opportunities for character death & missing the opportunity to use the Star Gate in July I, even if they do board the ship. Being on the ship does not mean they have to go home -- they can be there just to help, if they're planning to stay.
Thanks, gang! As always, feel free to ask if you have any questions!
- MOST IMPORTANTLY: Are you planning to have your character die or miss their opportunity to board the Star Gate ship during June II? (Please keep in mind the caveats as mentioned in this post re: character death and a potential sequel game)
- Are you planning to have your character seriously injured during the hijacking?
- Can your character pilot a spaceship?

2. Also up for RNG injury!
3. The very first glimpse of Kaidan in canon is in the copilot seat of the Normandy, and then he's never seen at the controls of anything again. I will say 'Yes, but emergency only'.

To be fair I don't think we have a single character who is an actual pilot, and neither is Micah despite having flight training, so I think the takeoff will be...interesting.

2. Was hoping to leave severity of injury up to RNG. With maybe the specifics for me to decide? IDK! I'm up for full RNG too really.
3. Freelancer does seem to give them vehicle training but also like they have dedicated pilots and all that, so I'm going to say yes but with more experience with things like fighters and smaller craft rather than big giant spaceships with like 30 people manning the bridge. Relevant experience does probably mean that if there was someone who could fill in the gaps on board he'd be a quick study though.

2.
Just fuck her right upOpen to rng'd levels of injury!3. Going by what we've seen in canon Carolina is at the very least capable of piloting a small fighter craft even if she's not cleared for a massive spaceship.

I can RNG for the extent of injury, but I'll leave the specifics to you.

2. Toootally open to this, too.
3. I'm sure Tucker could bang on some buttons...and fuck shit up more. Let's just keep him out of the cockpit, shall we?

Also, what's your take on the other half of that question re: missing the chance to board the ship?

Plus, I find that what it might do to the remaining characters, particularly the one from his world and the friends he made here, interesting as well. But I'm open to both!).
If Tucker does survive, I'd rather he'd go home. Bittersweet happy ending because his kid is there.

And yes good, Junior needs his dad.

2. Vex will be open for injuries for sure, likely resulting in why she doesn't make it to the flight in time? If it also means capture, I'm down for it.
3. Is it a magic carpet or a broom? Otherwise, noooooope.

2. I would like him to be seriously injured, though.
3. Reasonably well! He's not, like, amazing at it, but he could do it if he had to. (Unless he's injured.)

2. But! I am okay with an RNG injury
3. Sure can - while it's certainly not her specialty, it's part of basic training and definitely would be part of her officer's training.

2. Undecided/open to RNG.
3. LMAO no.

If a sequel game is happening I think I'd actually prefer he miss it.2. Open to RNG.
fuck me up3. Yes! Like Deanna, not necessarily his specialty, but it's part of basic training and he knows enough to take runabouts out on trips to medical conferences all by himself. :|b

2. Up for RNG injury, absolutely!
3. Pr...obably? He can certainly fly a lightflyer and that sort of thing so he could probably manage a shuttle in local space.

2. SURE THAT'S COOL WITH ME
3. Yep! He's not a dedicated helmsman or anything but, y'know, he's pretty darn capable.
